Hi there and a very warm welcome to Season 4 Episode 13.
Our guest is Dr. Duncan Gillard, a registered senior educational psychologist and highly experienced ACT and DNA-v practitioner and trainer. He's the co-author of the popular self-help book, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy [ACT for dummies] and also the author of several peer reviewed articles on the subject of ACT and contextual behavioural science. Ducan's work focuses on whole school and targeted interventions to promote and improve children's wellbeing and resilience as well as on the delivery of group and individually based ACT coaching interventions to support teachers' well-being and valued living.
He's joined by his colleague - Dr Nic Hooper [aka Hoopdog] - who alongside Duncan is part of the pioneering team who have developed Connect PSHE and more recently connect-ed.world.
